quién mira a quien?

Who looks at whom?

A forced stop on the road, in the middle of nowhere, just a small road, very few cars, at least 35 degrees ... the guy looked like i had spent the time until our car was repaired, taking pictures of my friend . After a while I thought it was only fair that I also look at him. He allowed me it and there was born a brief friendship
that it is understood only with looks.

Abezash - My Sweet Dreamer

I could not  photograph to my daughter without her loyal friend " a book"... This is my lovely Abezash, i see her this way.. dreamer, reflective and full of sweetness like "fatira & mar"

on ignorance

..............

A while ago some ethiopians friends asked me if the spanish are very racist.
It seems that a few years ago there was an altercation with a black football player and went around the world. I did not know about this, because I watch not too much TV and not football.
I was surprised because I did not think we were more racist than other countries.

Now it has happened with Alvés, a brazilian player. Someone threw a banana on the field and Alvés in a gesture that overcome the man  that threw it, he picked it up and ate it :)
I could see a lot of "selfies" on the FB, spanish ppl eating banana like a protest!
and as a mother of two Ethiopian girls I worry about this kind of human stupidity, but we can not eliminate stupidity, we can laugh at it.

Afrike - My little wild flower

.........

New proposal , photographing the kids
that rampage my house, that rampage my life, my loves ...
and the first victim who could not escape from my camera shots was Afrike , the little one of my daughters :)
No more than 20 minutes photographing her, she dont let me more :) , and just a few portraits.

Kids

..............................

Here is a tiny sample of those who were running through the streets of Harar Jugol. Some of them are hidding of my camera, others made me some joke and others were stayed front of my lens staring as if I  had not realized they was there. With my little boy Harari in the black and white portratit, the proud dad asked me to portray him, is that those big eyes-stopping! Harar big eyes land... or not?

This is a nod to my childhood, where there was no playstation or ipad and if I move in time i can see myself playing with my brother. I dont remember me as passionate as the girl in the picture and if I won I think it was just a matter of luck. The power of a pic!... Wonder rides!
